A rectal catheter is a 40cm piece of PVC tubing for atraumatic drainage and irrigation.
Rectal Catheter is used to provide access to the human secretion system through rectum to discharge the waste with maximum comfort to the patient. It’s also used to relieve flatulence (the presence of excessive gas in the digestive tract). This product can be used instead of a rectal flatus tube. Simple design that it may be both inserted and removed by the patient with one hand.
Designed for short term use: Rectal catheter is used for more than 60 minutes and less than 30 days.
Made from PVC (DEHP Free). Latex Free.

This rectal catheter can be used alongside with enema sets and enema syringes. The open end is for administration of enema solutions, drainage and irrigation. An enema is a technique used to stimulate stool evacuation. It is treatment most commonly used to relieve severe constipation by flushing out the colon with warm water. The process helps push waste out of the rectum when you cannot do so on your own.
