Intermittent Catheters for Urinary Catheterisation

Intermittent catheters are urinary catheters designed to empty the bladder and then be removed after use. Unlike an indwelling Foley catheter, an intermittent catheter is not retained in the bladder by a balloon.

Nelaton and PVC Intermittent Catheters

Standard Nelaton catheters are straight intermittent urinary catheters with a rounded tip and drainage eyes. Our range includes sterile PVC intermittent catheters from Pennine Healthcare and Jaques, with male and female lengths and a selection of French Gauge (FG/CH) sizes available.

Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheters

Hydrophilic intermittent catheters feature a lubricious surface designed for catheter insertion without the need to apply a separate lubricating gel in the same way as an uncoated PVC catheter.

Our hydrophilic range includes LoFric Origo male intermittent catheters, LoFric Sense female catheters and SpeediCath female intermittent urinary catheters.

Male and Female Intermittent Catheters

Intermittent urinary catheters are available in different lengths according to the product and intended configuration. Our range includes standard male-length catheters and shorter female intermittent catheters in a variety of FG/CH sizes.
